Warranty / Returns /  Refunds

All sales are final. No warranties implied due to immediate wear and tear with our products. We encourage you to watch review videos and read our product descriptions before purchasing with us or at your local retailer (if any). We want you to be sure our products are for you! Our playmats are a full cut & sew operation, we won't accept returns if there is no defect to the products you ordered. We are also not responsible for theft after delivery or bad addresses. We do offer a 5-day return window if there is a issue with quality control. Please contact us if there is an issue with your order and we will make it right. Once the return is received and inspected, we will issue a replacement if any or refund your order. If a mat is replaced, it does not negatively affect production runs as the replaced mat will be scrapped. Ink bond / resilience is dependent on many factors. You acknowledge that screened ink is not a permanent bond. Some inks/pigments adhere better to certain fabrics and is different everytime. No playmat is identical production wise. Sometimes, we improve ink bond due to new screening methods / additives and future prints are improved, but this isn't guaranteed. Ink chemistry is constantly changing due to commercial use and has changed within the last 20 years. Please contact us for more information to resolve any concerns regarding your order or answer any questions before purchasing.

Auto Refunds At Checkout / After Placing An Order

If billing zipcodes do not match when processig an order, your order may get auto cancelled. This is most common with Apply Pay on Mobile. There are also security measures that both Big Cartel and Stripe take when verifying info that can cause a rejected order. Sometimes your account where payment was made shows a deducted transaction when this occurs, but these charges are temporary and get auto-refunded. We do not capture payment but we can see this activity. To confirm your order has been placed, you should receive an "Order Number" beginning with "#". Contact us so we can manually check if we received an order from you and so we can provide addtional information.

Laser Cut / Sealing

We laser cut our fabric (if needed) to size prior to printing, this melts the edges creating stop for the face and sometimes the backing. This can cause a range of light/heavy laser burns or browning from the laser heat reflection. This does not affect usability, but we do try to filter as best as we can for standard/leftover prints.  Depending on the backing type, laser cutting isnt enough. We seal all edges of standard prints using a special glue as an anti-fray insurance policy. By hand. One by one. Leftovers are still laser cut (if applicable) but do not have sealed edges. Some fabrics are bonded to backings with heavier glues / methods where laser cutting or sealing may not be needed. Card slips / stamps will help you determine how a playmat was produced.

M1 woven mesh backing can show more browning and can curl edges slightly.

M2 N/A

M3 edge face hairs can be pulled easier due to lasering. Backing may show light browning. Dependong on print type, this can vary.

M4.0 is hand cut and stitched.

M4.1 has a new non-woven backing that is prone to burn jagged at its edges due to laser cutting (uncentered weave, no fix). However, it's top face is unaffected due to more laser heat tolerance and laser cuts well.

Ink / Fabric Properties

Our print method is made to be the same for every print. However, some inks have more pigment, some less. Some require less drying time, some more. More or less additives are needed. Getting the technique for every color on any fabric face changes. Light colors on dark fabric require finer tuning. As does vice versa. There are many, many variables. With that, some fabrics and inks of the same artwork variant may "feel" different. These differences vary. But quality is not meant to be changed. Depending on a fabric's character, more or less ink bleed / dye migration can be apparent. Fabric hair can lift after some use causing a "fade" look in the ink known as fibrillation (for some pigments), but this is part of the break in process as an aged print is different than an "off the press" print. Unfortunately inks for screening are not what they used to be due to phthalates being removed over the years. We try our best to improve and intend to perfect our craft as we grow. If you have any questions regarding our work, let us know. We love to provide clear clarification as we can!

M4 Fabric & Fall 2025+ playmats have new ink cocktail.

Prototypes/Leftovers

These are distinguishable from the standard prints. Protoypes are square, hand cut test prints that may contain some imperfections, are smaller in size by roughly 1.5 inches and are stamped. These are only available on the first wave of releases. We seal them as we can. They are the first rough cuts on the press prior to any changes (if any). Square stitched mats are NOT considered protos. Leftovers are standard prints that can range in product imperfections. Such as more noticable misalignment, laser burns, ink off contact, stitch imperfections (if stitched), blemishes, etc. Sometimes more or less. These are still laser cut (if not stitched) and are available on every wave, but do not have sealed edges. Like all our products, they are final sale.

Supers

Supers are mulit-colored limited prints. Less than 15 are produced per fabric color/artwork. Exclusive to loyalty raffles/rewards and online sales. These are hand cut to avoid fabric scorching/curling. They are also double sealed.

2025+ Supers are laser cut & are eligible to anyone who have ordered a playmat online. We do see order history before releasing Super variants.

Betas/Short Prints/Limited Releases

Because our fabric is made to order. We must test ink properties per fabric model. We may release low qty variants every so often.

Promos

Sometimes were are involved in tournament play promos. These have a mixture of quality control, inks/ and project management. These are experimentals that are not eligible for any warranty or production/quality feeback as these are donated to respective events.
